I like the PRW1300 but this one is def a keeper, just look at it....it just screams.....'Im just a bad mutha-Shut yo mouth!-' lol

I could always swap the watch body with the orange one I have lying around. :-!

There is one thing I really like on this one though. The bezel compass markings aren't shiny, as they are on the other versions. They're glossy, yes, but not metallic-shiny.

seem like many peoples missed the point that this black titan has sapphire crystal :oops:

this watch is the best in PAW1300 lineup. really stealthy :-!

I've picked myself up off the floor now. This made me think of Pulp Fiction; 'Which one is it? It's the one that says Bad Motherf***er on it.'

I don't like black metal G-Shocks, they tend to look a bit too shiny, but on this it looks awesome. I need a bigger watch budget :think:

And a PS: I like it now even more that Casio changed the compass ring from silver with red to black with orange. So I'm absolutely sure: I'll get it. They'll release it in August in Japan. :-!

I got a price for one shipped, $610 US, this was for PRW-1500TJ-1, thats the "BLACK TITAN" Limited.

For that many $$$ I would want to be sure the case was also titanium

but so far no protrek comes with titanium case. still waiting for casio and sure it will cost a bomb :-!

Maybe the "Black Titans" I have read some descriptions of their cases being titanium, however this may just be the way the description was translated from the original Japanese.

I know the latest 1500 "Black Titan" band is IP coated & DLC with a sapphire crystal, for $600 US I would also hope for the main case to be also titanium. At this price point the Protrek is competing with some serious completion, albeit mainly non ABC watches.

I know that you can get a Suunto X9Mi for less than this equipped with GPS, so its a lot of $$$ for a resin cased watch, with no additional function, if that is the case.

Welcome to the forum :-! sometimes someone will post what they paid or will direct you to the site where they got it of they might send you a Private Message. therey are lots of places to get Gs and if you find one you can put the sellers name in the search box and you might get info from other buyers. it nothing is there you can start a tread and anybody that has info will post it.:)
