I've put down a deposit on the NATO version from an AD, should have it by the time the movie comes it. I will order the bracelet separately.
Good man. If I were you I would order it on bracelet instead of nato. Buying the bracelet separately will cost you way more.

Why didn't you just buy it on mesh? Getting the mesh separately would only cost more than getting the nato strap separately.

The AD has a long list for the Mesh. I wanted to get it sooner rather than later. I will also hunt around and see if I can find one anywhere else.

Went to my local OB to try a Ti PO and when was about to leave he said: “wait, let me show you something you haven’t probably see in person”:

Was really impressed, very nice looking!!

Lots of great details on this one, in my opinion. I especially like that crystal.

Sadly I haven't come across the one on mesh at any Omega boutiques in Singapore. They only have it on nato. I'm in Doha on holiday and the boutique here don't even have both variants in stock. Was told only in April for Doha to coincide with the release of the movie.

No doubt the crystal was what I really like about the watch when I handled the one on nato a week ago in Singapore.

I don't think I've ever owned a watch with a mesh bracelet. But I do have a bad feeling about mesh bracelets when I think about them. I'm sure they were probably on cheap watches. I remember them as being bendable or having a lot of flex to them. But this was in the 80s or maybe 90s I think. I need to see this one in person.

I would probably lean on getting both the mesh and strap. But right now I'm thinking I would wear it on the NATO more. I saw a recent picture of the new agent and she seems to wear the watch on the NATO a lot in the movie. I guess she's old school like Connery which I like.

I think Daniel Craig only wore the NATO in Spectre and that was at the end. Although it is strange that they might wear the same watch with different straps considering the possible story line which is a bit of a spoiler so I won't mention it.

If she's wearing the same watch as Bond, thats almost as crap as the conversation on the train in Casino Royale. Product placement is one thing but toe curling references to the brand and blatant placement like that isnt good. The way theyre going its going to look like an episode of an apple tv show with their products on screen every 10 minutes. I still want to try this watch on though. I hope I hate it!

Actually in most movies the watch has been issued by the government agency. If they are both spies, could make sense they both have the same watch. I don’t want to know more about the movie but saying this could be consistent with storyline.

Exactly. She did mention that she is a double-0 in the trailer. It's therefore presumed that the SMP is standard issue for double-0 agents. Hence the broad arrow on the dial, thus the watch being government property, and given out to all double-0 agents.
