BR01 or BR02??

Finally got a BR forum! About time...

So just when I thought for sure that I was replacing my U-boat Flightdeck with a BR02...the BR01 snuck up on me. I've always liked the square shape, but there's something about the diver that I really love too. Last Friday I stopped by the mall and picked up the Invicta BR01 homage...and now I'm stuck. I love the square shape...but I love the diver. This will be my first BR of any sort and I'd like some opinions.

I'm between either the BR01 Stainless (BR01 92) or the BR02 Stainless with Arabic dial. What do you guys think? And obviously, there's a pretty big price difference in favor of the BR01, and I'd be lying if I said that that didn't play into things...

mthwatch,
if its your first B&R- go for the 01! I have an 01-94, 01-92 and a carbon pro dial 02!!!!! the 01-94 was my first B&R. if you are going 02, get the pro dial.
good luck!:-!

CUDDSVILLE;-)
Confirmed, If you are on the fence and like the styling of both, the BR01 is the must have, providing it you can deal with the size... more potential for customized straps. I like wearing my BR02 for a change of pace but the 01 is the go to watch for me at least. I really want a second 01.
Thanks for the advice guys. I think I've decided to go with the BR01 in stainless...and Lussori seems to have some great prices....I'm planning on ordering in October, so stay tuned for pics and a review!

That works well because Christmas will be right around the corner for the BR02. ;-)
mike, you know you want the br01. i suggest you go for this one for your first br watch. you cant go wrong with either though.

i guess we both lost interest for certain watches we were so hooked on months ago hehe:-!
No joke..it's funny how that happens, isn't it? I guess it's just that the whole BR square instrument shape has just become such a classic...a true instant classic. I can certainly understand your enthusiasm towards BR. I really like what the brand is up to...

mt.. if your going to come up here to Carmel and visit Lussori to get the watch, also make sure to stop by Chatel across the street..I always recommend Lussori as as great internet shopping experience, I personally buy my B&R from Chatel though. You have two ADs within 1 block here :-!
No kidding? I may do that...how far is it from SF? A good friend of mine just moved up there and I'm planning to come up and visit soon...is it close enough for a side trip?
Carmel is 5 1/2 hours north of LA, and 2 1/2 south of SF on the edge of Big Sur. You can take highway 1 the whole way. Bluest water in california.
