So, I've read some threads about needing adapters / etc in order to get a bracelet to fit many PAMs that did not come with a bracelet.

If I wanted a bracelet for my PAM164, say from a PAM299 (whatever that bracelet is called), what do I need to do? Would I need the adapters?

How would I source one? Would Panerai sell me one? Or are they like Rolex in that you can only replace like for like?

You should be able to order the bracelet and adapters (yes, you'll need them) from any AD or Boutique. Yes, Panerai will sell them to you - it won't be an inexpensive proposition, however. I believe the bracelet and adjusters add up to approx $1500 USD, not certain on that, however.
