so reading that article by Stephen Sugiyama again - and, of course the dozens of blogs posts and articles that just did a "copy paste" from there - I've set out to learn a bit more about that elusive "Boullier" Type 20 chronograph for the France Air Force and it seems a misunderstanding.

A Stephen Boullier was responsible for setting up the final assembly and testing of the Vixa chronographs in Besancon - from components manufactured by Hanhart in Germany - and then went on to found a watch company called "Kelton" in cooperation with Timex in 1955.

the claimed brand "Boullier" seemingly never existed, no records found on mikrolisk - and it seems these "Boullier Type XX of 1954" were just a typical internet chimera.

I know this is an old thread... Then Vixa reemerged and got busted for selling frankens a few years back.
