Dude, use the 'Contact Us buttom for Admin.'!GinGin, your inbox is full
Wow, not posting any more pictures or reviews on WUS. Sad.Technically, any picture you post on a Vertical-owned site can't be used anywhere else. So you can't use your own pictures that you submitted. Any review you have written, they own it.
Sadly, they don't tell you this with the announcement of the new ownership.
You can do as you like however we do not publish your images anywhere other than where you published them on the site.Wow, not posting any more pictures or reviews on WUS. Sad.
I'm not a lawyer, but I'm not sure that's strictly correct.Technically, any picture you post on a Vertical-owned site can't be used anywhere else. So you can't use your own pictures that you submitted. Any review you have written, they own it.

Actually I'm a lot more concerned about these two lines:You can do as you like however we do not publish your images anywhere other than where you published them on the site.

Your content still belongs to you. This statement applies to any party that believes that can take content from here that was not theirs to begin with and post it wherever they like.Actually I'm a lot more concerned about these two lines:
"All material on this site, including, but not limited to images, illustrations and multimedia materials, is protected by copyrights which are owned and controlled by WATCHUSEEK.COM"
"The use of any such material on any other web site, ftp server or network environment is prohibited."
Thanks for clarifying. I'm no lawyer but the wording doesn't make this very clear. Sounds more like you automatically get copyright to everything we post. Perhaps it should be revised...Your content still belongs to you. GinGinD is correct, we own nothing but the rights to your content. You own the copyright. We can not use your image anywhere but on our own network. So we can use it in a monthly newsletter, for example. This was explained many a time on the site wulf is speaking of. We post up the policy and TOS to protect ourselves. Since unlike Ernie we manage a number of communities. Like the mom and pop shop down the street from your wont put a sign up saying you are on camera, but the chain store will, because they have had to deal with an issue like that in the past.I'm not a lawyer, but I'm not sure that's strictly correct.

I think you mean "the rights to use your content." Two very different statements.GinGinD is correct, we own nothing but the rights to your content.

"the limited rights to use", to be more precise. And in the case cited below, the sentence should stop at "is protected by copyrights.". Copyrights for the most material published here are NOT owned or controled by watchuseek.com.I think you mean "the rights to use your content." Two very different statements.
