Well i found it, i hassled Peter to help me find out about it, i posted pics of it, then in my haste to remove several pieces of debris from the dial...i broke it!!!!:-|.

Then spent lots of calls over the last month or so to official sources to find a new stem and crown....nothing..its only an 80's ESA movement for christsakes!!...:-s, but no nothing...

Anyway i posted a few crys for help on several forums and to my joy, Granitequarry, or David as i like to call him, saved the day..

I did have to butcher the Bucherer he sold me for the parts and ended up using the whole, but identical movement...of course i now have to save the Bucherer as well!!!..doh. ( enter David... again)

The watch is now saved, i have finished putting her back together this afternoon..

I promise no more fiddling, no refinishing...she is as she is....taking pride of place on my wrist for today and many days to come..

Regards Keith
