For your consideration, I present this magnificent Breitling Superocean A17340. This particular watch, which was manufactured in 2000-2001, is COSC certified as denoted by the caseback as well as the presence of the number 3 in the model number. (i.e. A17340 not A17040)

This is a very robust, heavy, stainless steel watch, waterproof up to 1000 meters or 3200 ft. It uses one of Breitling's thickest one-piece stainless steel cases and has a helium escape valve which releases when atmospheric pressure in the case changes by 3 bars in deep sea diving. The domed sapphire crystal is a substance called corundum (9 on the Mohs hardness scale, second only to diamond 10) and virtually scratch proof. It has a screw-in crown and a unidirectional 60 notch rotating bezel. The movement is a caliber B17 (ETA 2824-2), arguably Breitling's most durable automatic movement. I recently (see receipt) had the movement serviced at an Authorized Breitling repair center Swiss Watch Repair in NYC. TIP: Don't buy an automatic watch thats over 5 years old that has never been serviced! Automatic movements need servicing every 3-5 years to keep in perfect working order. This watch is 100% authentic and runs perfectly.

Also included are the box and papers. Please note that some of the original paperwork is missing.

This is an absolutely fantastic watch in excellent condition. The band has minor scratches in it from normal wear, the case is nearly flawless. The dial of this watch is a brilliant blue that can only be found on the Superocean. The lum, as you can see from the night shot, glows very bright.

Price: $1200.00

Will ship to continental united states and world with the appropriate freight cost adjustment.
