Found a fully stocked kitchen with all modern appliances, freezer, fridge and pantry fully stocked. Just missing the Chef, Sous Chef, Chef de Partie, Commis Chef, the Kitchen Porter has been seen lurking around; not sure if we should hire him back.

I am not big on soups, but my wife just made a better version of CARRABBA'S MAMA MANDOLA'S CHICKEN SOUP that was to die for. My own specialty in the kitchen are subs, sandwiches and eggs. I make the big man's version of 'Huevos Rancheros' and bad @$$ omelets.

It is said that the Kitchen is the most important room in the house; the room that bring the family together. The room where everyone is welcome. "Mi Casa es Su Casa"

We are never alone because our family is always present. When we are together as a family, we learn solidarity, honesty, friendship and the value of having fun in an environment that's filled with love. Dinner revolves around sharing the love we have for each other: When the grandmothers cook, their delicious food is also a form of their identity, for special tastes connect us with who we are, including our traditions and values. In Venezuela, they say, "The best hallaca is the one my mom makes." And it's probably true, because its main ingredient is love.

The jokes are never missing:
The dinner hour is also a time to make jokes. The thing is, as Hispanics, we see everything - and we always have a sense of humor. It doesn't matter if there are problems or difficult situations we must address; we will tackle any issue with a touch of good humor. It's a lifestyle, and when we sit and eat
together, the jokes come out naturally. In a Hispanic family, you learn to see things in a positive way: The good humor makes us believe that things will always get better.

Why is the kitchen so important?

Not only is the kitchen vitally important because it contains the appliances and tools necessary to prepare any kind of meal, but it is also one of the most important spaces for storage, seating, and communication. Without the kitchen, the home would likely feel empty and confused, without a direction.

To celebrate this grand re-opening, I am wearing my newest Diver that can take the abuse of any professional kitchen. Aragon Dive Master that looks pretty pretty pretty good... yeah at 45! as in the case size!!! Just to make sure we are talking apples to apples!
