I like to know what am i buying and i like a personal touch with the company that i plan to pay a nice amount of money for a watch. A.D. is a great option for this, but what do you do, if there is no Laco A.D. in the country and you are buying a watch that is individually done for each customer, so A.Ds in other countries don't stock it (probably)?

Well, you read everything possible on the internet, trying to decide which size is good for my wrist, which dial option is better and which movement is best for me. Then, when you almost decide, Laco introduces a new full lume series Erbstuck and you are back to the starting line. I decided to write to Laco with some questions and when i didn't get an answer, i wrote here on this forum about it. It was a cry out of a passionate WUS guy that wanted to decide which watch to buy, sorry about that. Whatever happened with that first mail will never be known, but my shout out triggered a nice correspondence with Laco and they really went above and beyond to answer all my questions. It's hard to buy a "custom" watch and even harder to buy it from a company that you didn't see any watch in person yet.

I decided to pull the trigger on Leipzig Erbstuck edition and now that is on my wrist i know it was the right choice. The finish is incredible. B dial is perfectly busy and readable at the same time. It wears big on my little wrist, but i think it looks good. Strap is very comfortable and finishes the look of a watch perfectly. Winding is smooth and very satisfying with that big crown.

I already wrote on German watches forum and uploaded pics there so i'll just post couple pics here too if that is alright.
Box is very nice and everything in it too. Maybe a little suggestion to Laco...it would be a nice touch to include a booklet about history of Laco and it's watches (specially fliegers) since i think a big number of their Erbstuck customers buy these watches because of history and it's connection to the old days.

The best laco! What size is your wrist? Mine is 7 and I think we both look very smart.
Around 6.7 inches. It's a pilot watch. It should look big 🙂
