Good morning fellow FC-710 movement holders. Today I noticed while performing a usual wipe down after wearing my Frederique Constant Classics Manufacture with a FC-710 movement, that one of the Reduction gears as part of the winding mechanism seems to be rubbing on the back plate and accumulating little metal shavings or lubricant or black stuff.

So my questions to all of you is, IS THIS NORMAL? does anyone else with a FC in-house movement experience this as well? If this is not normal should I wait till I send it in for routine Service/Cleaning?

I have had this particular watch for 7 Months Yesterday. I wear this watch 3 days a week and the rest of the time is sits on a watch winder. This watch was purchased from an AD in Orlando Florida while on Vacation and there is NOT an AD close to my home. What should I do?

This should not happen to a watch this new. If you don't have an AD nearby then you might consider a good local watchmaker to inspect it.
