Hi All,
3.5 years ago I received a David Yurman Belmont 41mm Automatic as a birthday gift. It's the same watch shown here:
Belmont® 41mm Automatic | Timepieces Thoroughbred SHOP MEN | David Yurman Official Store
Basically, it has a very decorated and modified ETA 2824 movement. I love it as a dress watch and it does hold sentimental value, but it's already running fast. Just today it's gained nearly one minute.
Now, I'm a huge watch fan, but still have limited knowledge of actual movements and how they work. I live a "desk diving" management lifestyle in a corporate world where I don't move around very often and, occasionally, the watch will stop over night. Could the erratic time gain be due to the starting and stopping or does my watch need to be sent in for a check up already?
Thank you!
