I inherited a few seiko’s and while they were working at the time they both weren’t completely water resistant and suffered some damage after being exposed to a lot of rain. I asked my local jewellery if they could repair them for me but after they sent the watches to seiko as well as some watch makers, i was told that it was a lost cause. The watches are about 20-30 years old and I can’t believe that these parts from this huge manufacturer are nowhere to be found. The first one was bought in the late 90’s and is some sort of moonwatch. The second one is probably 20-25 years old and is called the seiko quartz chronograph sport 150. I also received a note with some of the missing parts on the older one. It said that he needs a “7T36(4000)” and some kind of radar. I live in western europe btw.
