Hi,

the serial number is 07xxxx (6 digits) and on the back it reads 'Flight-Qualified by nasa for all manned space missions' 'the first watch worn on the moon'. I know it's a fairly old one but that's about it. Ref: 145.022

Thanks!

Omega watches do not have serial numbers. They have eight digit movement numbers. The 145.022 is the model number of the case.

Ok thanks, does this look ok to you?

Also just wondering, were decent fakes known to be made for this model of the moonwatch?

The first two digits of the serial number are hidden behind by the end link. I would say its a fairly recent model though judging from the 1998 bracelet which was introduced in 2000
