It's an automatic, so I'm not sure why you'd be concerned with over-winding it. Usually when you first put on an automatic, you give the crown enough turns to get the second hand moving and the rotor will do the rest. But to answer your question, you shouldn't be able to over-wind the Miyota movement in a Laco.
