Actually that screenshot clearly shows a Ca50 as in 1985 the 53W didn't exist:



In the second movie McFly indeed switches girlfriend and watch and he has a 53W, I think that model came out in '87 or '88.

Funny thing ... many of these look like Rolex and it's army of clones. You will be hard pressed to tell them apart unless you have clear shot at it.
There were many calculator watches from Casio, Timex and many less known brands and they been hip around late 80s and did not cost too much.
Choosing calculator watch is good call. Finding right model/brand whatever is too painful for current Casio, sharing looks works well.
It's a movie prop after all. not even central to the plot.
