Hello, I am a new member to this site and I appreciate any information that you can provide.

I recently bought my first automatic watch and I have owned it for less then 2 weeks. Everything seems to have been working fine up until this past friday; I did not wear my watch and the time and date movement stopped. I wound the crown to restore the power reserve. But since that point, the date does not seem to move from day to day. When the watch first stopped, I wound the watch around 9am PST on Friday and then noticed on Monday that the date was wrong so I manually adjusted the date but this morning the date had not changed.

Any suggestions or insight is greatly appreciated.

Hi there! This might be a stupid question, but are you sure the date isn't just changing at noon instead of midnight? Should be easy enough to check, just set it past midnight, and if nothing happens continue for another 12 hours and see if date changes.
