I was watching one of my favorite 80's movies yesterday License to Drive starring Corey Haim and Corey Feldman. I noticed Les's Dad Mr. Anderson "Richard Masur" is wearing a DW-5000 the very first G-Shock. So I give you thee "License to Drive" watch like the DW-5200 "Hero", the DW-5600c "speed", and The DW-5500 "Arnie", it now has a name among the Stars! The Best watch from the 80's in one of the best 80's films :)

Here are some screenshots I took for you guys

but first a few pics of my DW-5000!

This could be first movie with 5000c, for all we know? I have to watch this movie now.

Thanks for sharing, must have been quite a nice surprise for g-shock fan like you to spot this original G in the movie.
