Can't help you on the maker, but it closely resembles the "Ladies, fixed lug" strap watches from the 1920's. Bulova and others were promoting these as "sport" watches.

Honestly, without seeing it "up close and personal" so to speak, I have no clue?

If you turn the picture the other way up, it helps the identification.

Not an exact match but the Glycine 80 is close. In particular, the position of screws and geartrain comes very close. I doubt that it is the Glycine 80 but another related and slightly smaller or larger calibre may well be the right one.
