First thing first, need (much) better photos as Osamu mentioned.
Does the seller know which model name/number that one is? It's not consistent of any Chanel J12 Marine model that I know (though, I'm no expert).
Any other documentation, receipt?
Ask about the diamond bezel as well if it's aftermarket.
As for photos, would be nice to see the back and a closer photo of the crown.
This one isn't a great deal, seller is asking 4950, I think that's pretty much in line with the going rate for watch only. Lol, normally I would think that that was a bad thing, because I like to find good deals! But everyone that involves a Rolex is a fake, and a bad one at that, so I'm...
Tell me what you think. Looking it up online the photos of similar watches all had the date a different size and in a different location. I'm going to see it today, it is a craigslist seller. It's slot easier to tell in person, his photos are poor. Thanks for your help.
So i was offered this in a trade for my car i have listed. I am no expert by any means but it looks good to me. I dont think the james cameron deep sea is a heavily repped model. I did find a forum where people had bought a rep and were showing it off…:”showing it off”. Whatever that means...
I can barely tell what watch it is in these crappy pics, let alone if it's real or not...
These chanels are frequently faked, and what exactly is the "tool" to replace the battery ??
This watch uses a big, car remote-like battery that is replaceable by hand once you take the case back off, no need for any special tools!
Seems like OP likes to bid and buy dangerously. Focus on great deals with photos taken either with 10 year old phone camera or just blurry from hand shake. I guess that is one way to avoid competition from other buyers.
Why do these suspicious finds always have a backstory? Does inheritance or found in drawer of dead relative suppose to add to authenticity? Who cares.
