I'm a huge sucker for "elaborate but not elaborate" watches... Sarpaneva's seem to fit that criteria quite well.
Just look at the lume!!

Wow, beautifulThey're redesigning the dial though to make it "less Sarpaneva".

I'm really only into divers but this blue has been calling me since I first saw it on Facebook. So I had to reach out to them and it's coming here to test drive it for a while and show it to y'all.Wow, beautiful! Not the biggest fan of Kickstarter watches, but I might be able to get behind this one
Edit: Oh, wow, looks like they might completely change the dial design though![]()
The moon detailing was what initially drew me to the brand, but I have to say the recent guilloche dial he posted is now my favourite Sarpaneva. Not only the case shapes, but the work on that engraved moon... I plan to go to an AD that has Sarpaneva (a rarity) to look a them myself. I don't like all of his stuff, but some can surely look great. For a similar approach, check out Rönkkö, but they're not more accessible.
I think that if you make something like that without applying the highest level of craftsmanship to it, it would probably look cheap, hence the danger of looking for affordables in the same style...
