Chopard full service cost questions

Hello,

I'm new to these forums, and I have some questions I have not been able to answer by looking at other threads here.

I have a Chopard Mille Miglia GT XL chronograph with an ETA movement. I brought it the local Chopard dealer who has an in house watchmaker. The store says the watchmaker is on par with those at the Chopard facility and that he takes similar precautions, such as wearing a lab coat and keeping the environment lint and dust free. They quoted $650 for the full service (full dismantling and cleaning of the movement) with the likelihood that some small parts in the movement would be replaced. They also quoted $185 for a full polish/refinishing of the case and buckle (it has a rubber strap).

Is this more or less than (or the same as) what Chopard would charge if it was sent in to Chopard's repair center? What would be the recommended route as far as getting the best quality work for the money? If there is only $100 difference (for example) would it make sense to just send it in to Chopard's center?

Do they both offer a new warranty for the same amount of time? If there is a variation, I’d go for the longer of the two.
