After enjoyable events in Asia in the fall, we now have no fewer than four year-end events. Winter is really heating up for Christophe Claret, especially in the New Year when we will put on a special exhibition at Hôtel des Bergues in Geneva.
Elegant roadshow a success for Christophe Claret

Christophe Claret participated in two events in Asia recently and both were a resounding success. In October, Chief Operating Officer Stefan Feltgen represented Christophe Claret during a two-date roadshow in China organized by our retail partner Elegant Watch. Mr Feltgen (pictured above) presented the entire Christophe Claret Collection - including DualTow, Adagio, 21 Blackjack, Baccara, X‑TREM-1 and our new Soprano timepiece - during press presentations and collectors' dinners staged in Shanghai and Beijing.
Chinese public sees full Christophe Claret collection for first time at Top Marques

Later in October was the 15th edition of the luxury fair Top Marques in Shanghai, where the Chinese public was able to see the full Christophe Claret collection for the first time ever. Mr Feltgen and our International Commercial Director Phil Ogle were there to help showcase the entire Christophe Claret collection.
Special January exhibition at Hôtel des Bergues in Geneva

Our new Soprano Westminster minute repeater tourbillon, the polished titanium Adagio and other stunning timepieces from the Christophe Claret collection will be on show at the Four Seasons Hôtel des Bergues in Geneva during a special exhibition from January 20th to 24th, 2013.The exhibition will have a particular focus on striking timepieces and showcase the fruits of the technical excellence, creativity and craftsmanship that Christophe Claret has developed over the past 25 years. Indeed, it is nearly a quarter of a century ago that Christophe Claret set about developing the Manufacture's first caliber, a minute repeater. On the first day of the exhibition - Sunday, January 20th - there will be a press conference at 11am at which Mr Christophe Claret and his team will be present. To arrange an appointment, please contact Alexandra Beurier. We look forward to welcoming you.
Soprano (pictured above) features a musically accurate 4-note minute repeater striking Westminster Quarters on cathedral gongs, a 60-second tourbillon and Charles X style bridges in addition to a titanium caseband to optimize sound transmission. The cathedral gongs feature a Christophe Claret patented device preventing them from touching when they vibrate under the hammer strikes. Soprano is available in three limited editions of eight pieces in either red gold or white gold.
Adagio (pictured above) is a minute repeater with patented cathedral gongs and features central hour and minutes, small seconds at 9 o'clock, large date at 6 o'clock and a second time zone at 2 o'clock indicating both hours and minutes and featuring a day/night indicator - all in a stunning polished titanium case to maximise sound transmission. The large date boasts another patented mechanism designed to minimize de-synchronization of the date discs under the dial, thus maximizing reliability.
