The caliber 400 I prefer is no longer available in the regular chronomasters, so the revivals are the only chronomasters left without that strange 3600. I'd get the Zenith.

The carrera is very nice looking, but I have a feeling that model/look will be available for a long time. Can't say the same for the Zenith.

I really like both of these watches. The Zenith is going to be at least a couple grand more expensive, not that that should be the deciding factor, but it is there.

Usually I'd vote for an El Primero, but not that one so TAG Glassbox gets my vote.

I don't like case shape or the wavy minute markers on the Zenith. The Glassbox is a stunner by comparison.

On a bright, blue-skyed day, some color is in order - black is just too dour. Hence the Zenith (also, you will get a virtual hat tip from any connoisseur that may notice it. Not so with the TAG).

While the Zenith is a better watch (by far), the model the OP is asking about is unattractive aesthetically.

In this case the TAG is better looking and worth considering if you can only buy one.

Me too. Are we looking at the same watches. The tag is a bit boring. Like a mall watch. Zenith is interesting.

I think the case shape on that particular zenith is a bit marmite. It has certainly grown on me though.

I prefer the chronomaster original and sport though.

The original is intriguing but the case architecture is just inhumane. Super high lugs and a deep caseback makes an awkward fit IMO.

I might be into the tonneau as being just a bit different as a good thing.

I prefer the Revival, to most chronographs in fact let alone the Tag. I like the case shape, I don't think photos do it justice. In photos it can look a bit unusual, but in real life on the wrist it blends together nicely with the way the crystal is domed.

From the two you mentioned, I think the Glassbox (I normally prefer the Zenith EP but I'm not fan of the case in that version).

Can't go wrong with either one!

The Zenith symmetry is hard to look at and the date window is a distraction. The whole dial is a hot mess but somehow it has a cool vibe along with that retro case. It’s certainly much more of a statement.
The Tag has classic good looks and has that super cool crystal.
‘At my stage of watch collecting, I’d do different and go with the Zenith. But, I’d like to own both!
