A co-worker brought this to me, to help him decide if it's worth fixing. From what I have gleaned from the interweb, it appears to be a Chrono Matic II. I am guessing it has a Valjoux 7750, but I have not been able to get the back off. He accidentally left it in his gym bag quite a few years ago and the crystal was destroyed. In the process, it lost it's second hand and all the other hands were smashed against the dial. I straightened the hands, and it actually runs and the chrono will run sporadically.

Is it indeed a chronomatic? Would it likely have the Valjoux? I am going to keep trying to get it open, but I don't want to damage it. The only number on the back is 7183.

I found out what movement it has. It does not have the 7750, it has the LWO 283, which is an ETA 2893-2 with a Lemania Chronograph unit piggy backed on top. Not too many of these left around, from what I can tell. Just in case anyone was curious.
