Great job 31j - really looks very good. After looking at Wysanz's example and now yours, I've changed the second hand on mine to orange now. It was white but that doesn't appear the original spec.

Thanks for the posative reply Stephen. I was blessed to get this watch with a really nice set of original hands. Not one chip of the original paint missing on any of them. Post a pic with your new orange hand. The 67-9151 is a small club with a few members. I Hope some more will show up here sometime. 31

As a watch restorer, it's always handy to have a lathe on hand. I missed the opportunity once when I went to the flea market. There it was, watch maker's lathe with 6 collets selling for 200 smackers. I was so scummy offering 170. Having walked away for less than 5 minutes, returning for pulling the trigger, the lathe was gone. What a miss.

That was a good deal. I dont use mine a whole lot, but when i need it, it helps with so many things...... and thank you MM for the pic. Your chrono hand color looks spot on. 31

Hi all,

Another owner checking in.

I bought this on eBay from a far-eastern seller and it worked for a few months and then the crown became stiff and it used to stop running. I put it into storage until I can get it repaired. I also noticed two very small flakes of paint came off the edge of the dial, and are floating around behind the crystal. I'm a bit nervous about any work making this worse.

I don't have experience taking close-ups so these are from the seller:

It is also currently strapless. I also have a Bullhead 8110 but the strap gave me issues and I wanted to wear it.... so I borrowed the one on the 67-9151, which isn't particularly brilliant, but sufficient.

Thank you 3ps for adding your 67-9151 here. It looks to be in very good condition. We will have to get you an original crown for it. Looks like now we have only (4) members. If you ever would like it restored and serviced correctly in the future, PM me anytime. 31

Hi 31j really i inspired by you..and taking decision to restore my citizen 67-9151....first challenge i face is dial restoration / repainting....guide me further..thanks
Hi RPM. Thanks. I appreciate the props. Sorry....I have no movement holders for a 67-9151. One would have to be custom made on the lathe like I did, unless you can find a 9151 parts watch. Chrono hands can be found on ebay from Canadian sellers. Your dial......I would need to see a picture of yours to offer any advise.
