I purchased a groegous 8110 Octagonal Bullhead from a forum member recently. This thing has become my daily watch. It keeps time well, and hasn't had an issue for the few weeks that I had it.

After not wearing it for a few days, I grabbed it from the watch box and gave it a little hand-wind (30 turns), and stuck it on my wrist. It was just fine until I noticed after wearing it a whole day, it had stopped during the middle of the night.

The same thing happened yesterday, specifically after giving it a long, 50-70-turn hand-winding by crown, which is smooth.

On my wrist, it ticks away just fine.

My question is, is this movement capable of hand-winding and what could have so detrimentally affected the power-reserve after a few days of not wearing it?

My guess is that something is affecting your mainspring. You should normally have about 40+/- of reserve.
