Looking to buy my first Citizen automatic diver, and I’m wondering what the service costs are for a routine overhaul. All of the other brands I buy are very transparent about their service costs.

Anyone know what citizen charges for a routine service?

MSRP on the blue fujitsubo is $996. Am I going to buy it at that price? No, but the fact remains that at retail, it’s a $1k watch.
Some Invicta watches list for over 3k....LOL
It is admirable that you might want to repair a watch down the road...but I doubt you will have to for a looong time.
When that time happens, whomever does the repair, will more than likely throw a new movement in the watch.

It is a $500ish watch and sometimes the effort to fix might not be worth the time and $$...
pop in a new movement and BAM..you are done.
That is if you want to repair it.

As far as repair cost....that is up to the watchmaker.
Have you contacted Citizen for a repair cost? There is a Citizen service center.
good luck!

Which is why I made it clear I was talking about MSRP and will NOT buy it at that. Citizen isn’t Invicta.

Also, the 9051 movement isn’t available outside of citizen repair centers, so no, I can’t just put a new movement in, otherwise I would just do it myself like I do with all my basic Seikos and Sellita powered watches.

Don’t know why you have to be such a butt.
