Been trying to change the batteries in this watch. I figured I'd post here, and if its not the correct place please let me know.
So I managed to change the batteries, but it says to push all 3 buttons before. I missed this, and don't understand why... It seems it will just remove the watch from the glass.
Also, after you change the batteries, you're supposed to short it to start it. This just doens't work.

Maybe the watch needs to go in for repair. It was just a old watch that would be really nice to get working again.
I did notice that if I push both buttons ( after changing the batteries ) the digital screen kinda flashes for a second Its pixilated, but does do something.

Thanks for any advice!

Did you DL the instructions for your specific movement? Is the movement a regular quartz or an eco-drive? Two very different animals. I suspect pressing all three buttons (it must be a chronograph) puts the movement into a 'pause' mode.

IMO follow the exact instructions, including any pre-cell removal instructions, then remove the old cell, install the new cell and follow the reset instructions. Hope this helps
