hi guys!
as 1st nice to meet you all, I am new here, I hope I am posting in the proper place!

I wont bother with a poemy, just asking your opinion, I would love to listen to your feedback,

I am gonna choose one of the 3 suunto mentioned in the title, all of them have some reason why I would buy one,
the vector is maybe THE suunto, the xlander is the coolest one, the core is the more versatile (IMO!)
actually I would choose the military look, so, the core all black, or the vector black, or the xlander military.

here are some of my doubt:

- the core is the only one who has dual time
- some say that the vector has the most accurate compass, since it has the level too
- on the other side it looks like the core has the most accurate altimeter (1 meter vs 5 meter) (but I am a bit sceptical about it)
- the vector has the HR option so it can be good for sport too
- the xlander has less option maybe but it's the coolest one (to my eyes)

ok, the best solution is to buy all off them... maybe un the long time I will.. but which one would u choose 1st and why??

thank you soo much in advance for your feedback, I will really listen to them carefully!

These are so hard for me LOL.

Personally I would go Vector/XLander/Core.

Honestly the Vector model (and the XLander since they share the same guts) do about 80% of what I need an ABC to do. The Core gets the lat 19% and Im not getting any new fangled models till they fill that last 1%... Thats right... Espresso maker.

LOL

I jsut LOVE the classic Vectors. Light, comfortable, battle proven. Then the X LAnder is a nice step up in case and crystal materials. I wear my X Landers a LOT. And then the Core... better technology but not as "classic".

What can I say, Im a classic kind of guy.

I agree with Jeff. The differences that matter to me are:

Pro X-Lander: 3 alarms and a >24 hour countdown timer on the X-Lander (vs 1 alarm and a 99 *minute* countdown timer on the Core); altimeter is more responsive and more stable in its responses than the Core (even if it has slightly worse resolution). The Core seems to take a long time to resolve my current altitude (and by "a long time" I mean 30-60 seconds); better looking.

Pro-Core: Alti/baro lock (the one thing that keeps the Core on my wrist over the X-Lander); barometric pressure trend graph; and button lock (especially as compared to the X-Lander. Those buttons seem to get accidentally pushed all the time.)

There are lots of other differences, of course, but those are the ones that matter to me on a daily/weekly basis.
