Im struggling to find a decent watch that doesnt look 'iced-out' by diamonds, or chunky design - iv noticed this longines watch, my gf loves it - however shes very unsure because it does say its a mens watch.

She loves the design, is there anything else thats similar to this Longines model?
I got a max budget of $2000.

I'm a lass with a 6" wrist, and have several of the Master Collection watches on my list of potentials. The barleycorn pattern on the dial is gorgeous, and a 40mm watch isn't too large unless your gf is tinier than me.

I've found that case height is more of a limiting factor than diameter when it comes to looking "ladylike" on the wrist; the model you linked to has a 12mm case height, which is fine. I'd suggest looking at watches with straps, as steel bracelets can be a bit overwhelming on a small wrist when combined with a larger case.

In that price range, you should also be looking at Oris. I think the Artelier series is far too pretty for the men to keep for themselves!
