Hi all,

I recently picked up my first Fortis: the Spacematic "Counterrotation" ref. 623.10.51 L.01 in black/red.

Really enjoying it so far! Can anyone share some background on the 'counterrotation' nomenclature? It clearly does not rotate backwards nor does it possess sufficient mass and/or energy to force a reversal of another object's rotation....;)

Thoughts? I reached out to Fortis customer service this week but as of yet have not heard back beside the acknowledgment of receipt.

Thanks!

Do the day and date rings move in opposite directions?
Indeed....naming the watch after something all day/date complications do (to my knowledge at least) seems a little pedantic to me, but maybe it's more interesting to the Swiss mind...they've got their own sense of humor!
