Recently I have got hold a old mechanical hand wind Cronometro PLIMEX 17 rubies INCLABLOC swiss made watch.
I tried to gather information regarding this watch from internet but there was not much information. I would like to know about this watch, members kindly enlighten.

Any marks on the back? Mikrolisk, a data base/trade mark index lists 12 Chronometro. Impossible to say who‘s who.
Other than that: typical watch of the 60s/70s. If the Back says stainless steel back this would indicate it is a brass case plated with chrome or gold or whatsoever. If so, only the back would be made out of srainless steel.

Maybe an import brand for Waltham ? They used „Chronometro Superior“ and „Chronometro Tupy“. Is there a XXX import code somewhere on the movement ? For Waltham it was WXO according to Kathleen H. Pritchard’s Swiss Timepiece Makers 1775-1975, Phoenix Publishing.
