Hi guys. I'm posting here on the off-chance that some members might know of a custom strap maker in Tokyo. I'm going to be visiting there for two weeks and I've already looked up some watch shops to check out, but having very small wrists (<6.5"), I'm going to need some straps to go with my future purchase(s). OEM and aftermarket straps are always much too long for me, and I haven't had any luck with online custom makers. They always come out either too short, too long, or too thick. What I'm looking for is someone who will measure my wrist and then let me design my own strap.

Any help would be appreciated :)

Hi there. I did some research for you since I assumed you can't speak Japanese. Sorry that I can't offer my own experience here as I was searching this forum to learn more about straps myself.

First of all "custom" is called "order made" in Japan. Even if there's very little communication with the language barrier if you say "order made please" in English you're sure to find what you want.

This one seems fairy promising.

Based in Ebisu (west side of Tokyo, near Shibuya). Seems to have a really wide variety of options. Their website has sample pictures of different watches they've made straps for.

The very first block of info there with the guy's picture is for the Takashimaya store in Nihonbashi. This is on the other side of Tokyo from Shibuya.

Hopefully either of these two has what you're looking for.

Sorry I don't know how to edit my posts on this forum. I should mention the second store (1492) is located on the second floor inside Takashimaya.
