Ouuch! One Lug already scratched ?
Indeed, I have a few scratches on the inner part of the lugs, due to regular strap changing. I'm far from being an expert at strap swapping or any other watch manipulation, but I'm not sure how it's possible to change straps often using a steel Bourgeon tool and metal springbars on non drilled lugs without getting some small scratches on the back of the lugs - mind you it's a very magnified picture though.- Anyone has some piece of advice to share on this? It would help me out a lot!

In the meantime, I continue not looking at the back of my lugs to often, and I'll get rid of those scratches in a few years, in the end of the day they are in a place that's hardly ever visible ;)

PS: if you look at the positionning of the microscratches well, it seems they were caused by the springbar when pushing it with the Burgeon to secure a new strap on.

Awesome review, loved the photos! I’m hoping to purchase one soon, this definitely makes my choice easier.
Thanks a lot! If you like the design, go for it without a second thought, there is no way you can regret it!

Hope you enjoy it once there,

Alex

PS: as for the existing scratches, I plan on going physically to the Black Forest when purchasing the Flieger Chrono I have on my roadmap. I'll take this one with me and ask them to brush those away, I'm sure they'll do it without issues, I really had a great customer service experience with Stowa so far!

Nice review. I ordered one in the same configuration you did. I hope it doesn’t take six weeks!
If you shoot them an email, they should come back to you with an estimated delivery date. It really depends on their number of orders, but also on the availability of some parts like the ETA movements, which are not always easy to get fast. What I was trying to tell myself was "the longer the wait, the bigger the pleasure when receiving it", but I admit it to be a poor excuse of one's impatience! :p I forced myself to wear my Glycine DC-4 this morning, and 2 hours into being in the office I already miss my Flieger :( That's how good the Stowa is!
