I always considered myself to be a guy who liked simple styles. I liked simple dials with classic looks. Even a day-date window was a bit much for me. But now...

It seems like every watch that comes into my sights now is a chrono. My next acquisition looks to be a Tissot PRS516, a busy racing-style chrono (borrowed pic below). I'm also developing an interest in vintage chronos. This especially scares me because these are going to be more expensive to service.

Anyone else experience a total shift in their taste in watches like this?

Not yet, but I have really only developed an interest in watches a few months ago. I like divers and dress watches. I can't stand most chronographs (too much stuff on the dial).
