DG2813 vs Miyota 8215 date window

Figured this would be the best place to ask. I've read some conflicting reports about the interchangeability of these two movements when it comes to dials. I thought the DG2813 was a straight up replacement for the Miyota but I've come across some posts saying the date window on the DG2813 is 1mm closer to the center. It seems strange they would be so similar and yet have different date wheels. Can anyone shed some light on this issue?

Miyota have all the specs of thier movements on thier website. So you can see if you dial will fit the miyota 8215

From the center point to the start of the date window = 8.95mm

I was under the impression the DG2813 movement was supposed to be drop in replacment. But not had any personnal experience with it.

I did a swap a few years back, and there was no difference in date wheel or window placement. If there's a difference now, then there must have been some change.
