Difficulty fitting watch under the cuff?

It is God telling you that it's inappropriate to wear a sport watch with a dress shirt.

But if you are able to swing it, and plan to continue wearing thick watches under a dress shirt, it is possible to go custom.

In this case the watch arm sleeve button(s) can be placed to accommodate a larger watch by your tailor.
