Did anyone's 65 come stock with shoulderless springbars?

i think mine are shoulderless, but i’m not sure...

Ok, i think mine are as well.

does anyone know what the proper tool is to remove shoulderless springbars from lugs that are not drilled?!?!

I taped up around the case and used pliers to bend them out. It's pretty easy, though others may have another suggestion.

The AD somehow gets them out and reuses them without destroying them. There has to be a tool or something...

I understand that if a quality spring bar tool is used the harder metal of the fork can actually be used to dig into the softer metal of the spring bar and release it.

If no tool exists and I wouldn't want to risk damaging the case, I would simply cut them in half. :)

Dental floss works wonders (unless you have it on the bracelet). Wrap it around the end once, give it one hard tug to the opposite side, and you're good to go!

I would have never thought of dental floss...


i’ve got it on the bracelet. I wish i could figure out how to get the bracelet off without having to go back to the AD
