I remember I´ve seen that watch at a watch fair at Cologne two years ago, now there´s a seller on the bay.

Yes. They were, from what I recall, produced for the French military, probably special forces. Thats going on memory as the watches came up for sale late 2005 on ebay. If you look at the watch you will see it is hinged at 6 and is designed to flip up to act as a desk clock. Its big and heavy and I think a quality build. Its rare, as the numbers produced were quite small.
