I had a 5000t Caribbean that I thought was very well-made. It was one of the Doxas with the misspelling "PATENDED" on the case back. This was right around the time that the picture of the cases purporting to show them being made by a Chinese factory came out. At the time both of these things bothered me enough to let it go. The long and short of it though is if it can be had at a discount, Doxas are actually quite robust watches with great bracelets.
