Friday was an off day with a very happy ending. After an unusually tough day made worse by a 3 hour flight delay, I arrived home to unwrap a couple of new presents. I had been anticipating the arrival of the T-Graph for almost 6 weeks, and it did not fail to please. But alas, it remains nicely coddled, as I had another more pressing package to unwrap.

Doxa orange was a must have, but my first love is the Caribbean, more specifically, Searambler's Carribean. I really wanted that blue shark skin strap to go with mine. Mr. Wong's package arrived earlier in the week, and I couldn't wait any longer to open it and attach it.

About a month ago I bought an extremely nice, second hand RR, seeing it as an opportunity knocking only once. Of course a week later Doxa announced a surprise find, and I had to jump at a chance to buy a second Caribbean. Neither have seen any wrist time yet. It just didn't feel perfect without that strap.

There's no doubt I'll get to T-Graph in due time, but the Carribean has been waiting too long and will take the honors for next couple weeks.

Looking back, June will go down as one of my bigger WIS splurges. 4 Doxa's later, and a wife looking for her own reward, I can say with confidence that I have no regrets.

Here's a picture of the gang.

Very happy to be of some small assistance! You've started a helluva nice Doxa collection, looks like your Doxaholism is in full swing! :-d

Here's the original Wong on mine. Those with Pete's book will recognize this picture as Pete thought it was nice enough to be included there. I am inordinately proud of that fact! :-!

I love posts like this :)

I can show it to the wife and say "see, I'm pretty tame, one watch a month."
Congrats on the beauties, including the wife :)

Longhorn,

I really need to get that blue strap for my GMT Caribbean! It looks great, as do the other 3!

Thanks Jason!

My wife was lobbying to send me to "Forum Therapy." It's just been hectic lately with a lot of things that I made a low priority; you know, yard work, house work, work-work. I've been trying to keep up on the threads, but not posting much. I also had all 3 boys for about 10 days after vacation because my wife's mother had surgery and needed some help in South Carolina.

I REALLY want another DOXA, but I'm going to have to be patient! Maybe the book and an accessory or two will hold me over for a while!;-)
