I'm looking for a retro-inspired cushion-cased diver and have narrowed it down to either the Doxa Sub 300T (Caribbean on rubber strap) or the Seiko SPB183. Taking into account that I won't do any serious diving with either of these, the water-resistance between the two is not a major consideration.

I like the style of both of them, so curious about people's thoughts between the two. To note, I have a 7-inch wrist on the dot. Some thought starters are below:
  • How does quality compare between the two?
  • Overall wearability experiences from other—knowing full well they are cushion divers
  • Any general sentiments about the Doxa purchasing/ownership experience? I've owned Seiko and GS before.
As always, open to other ideas as well. I really like the look of the Sub 600T, but have only seen bad things about wearability.
