Does anyone have these two watches that they can compare side by side? I picked up a DW-5600 at Walmart having no idea about the UE upgrade. I've had a few DW-5600E in the past, but something about this UE model seems larger. I'm guessing it's all in my head,(and maybe because I've been wearing an F91w) but can anyone compare the two physically? I know about the screen and light difference, but curious if there is any difference in dimensions/bezels etc. Thanks!

It's all in your head, Casio website has both models dimension identical at 48.9 × 42.8 × 13.4 mm. I believe it's just the inside module difference.

There are some minor changes that are probably unnoticeable.
They updated the part number of the strap for the first time since 1996 and it's not a substitute number either.
The bezel part number also has changed since the original 1996 model and for unknown reason they now use the bezel from the 2008 DW-5000SL.

It probably also has to do with less wording on the crystal.
The older one had Electro Luminescent Backlight and Light On/Off Start - Stop
While the new one only has LED Backlight (in a different script) and drops the Light On/Off part and only has Start/Stop
Also the new one has the Illuminator and the water resistance wording color reversed of the old one and the new one has Water 20Bar resist over the older one's Water 200m Resist
All of these changes contribute to making the crystal more cleaner and thus makes it look slightly bigger

Walmart has no gshocks in most of their stores. They phased out all gshocks and only carry and sell the cheap Casio non gshock watches.
