For those of you out there with the expertise, I have a chance to pick up a America's Cup limited edition frogman in great shape. The battery is for sure dead since the display isn't working. My question is, is it worth it to buy this watch with the idea that I don't know if it is just the battery? I don't have any experience changing the battery and I'm not sure I would like the yellow color so I might just flip it for a frogman with a different color. Is this model a valuable one? Or is it only worth $150 with the battery working? It also has everything like the plastic case and the manual if that helps with my question. Is it easy to change the battery? Also what battery does it need if it uses the 1294 module?

Thanks for any help. I'm just starting to get into the more advanced Casios.

Looks like mint condition ones that work properly go for $300-400 on eBay. There is a NOS on Rakutan for $630. Nice watch!

It looks exactly like that watch. Is it easy to change the battery yourself or should I take it to a shop?
