Does anybody else think the hands on almost all Edifice models are too short?

FWIW, the (least-specced) EQS-940NL-1A appeals most to me, aesthetically.
Still not sure about that Edifice logo, though.

 

I like Edifice series, very good price/value. However, I agree with Nokie, the dials are very busy for my taste. Casio should “recycle” some of the older Oceanus chronograph designs and launch them as a part of Edifice collection.

 

The ECB-2000 is the least usable one out of the three for night time driving. Even the analog hands would blend in with the dial.

 

I totally agree. My Sospensione is illegible in every possible way, from the negative display to the hands getting lost in the design of the dial, and I think this whole platform is wrecked by the enormous lug-to-lug length (but I have a tiny wrist, so I would think that.)

This case has one virtue, IMHO, and one only: The button size. On a bike, it's important to be able to find the stopwatch buttons by touch alone... and while I can't read the damn thing until I've stopped, there is one problem I don't have: Having to check the display to make sure I hit the stopwatch, and didn't ghost-press the button or press a crown guard or something.

This supports my theory that Casio will never make the watch that has every design feature and function that I like, which is why I own a dozen of them and not one. My use case scenario is odd-- I ride emtb and only time segments where I'm pedaling-- but no matter what you're using your Casio for, there will be one feature you want that your watch won't have, and often (at least) one feature that drives you crazy.
