Gentlemen!

I am interested in bidding on a Pocket watch.

According to the description, the hallmarks on the case (Sterling Silver) are for London, 1925.
But, to my eyes, the fusee movement looks at least 50 years older.
The movement maker is a William Craik from Dalkeith. Which is in Scotland.

Does anybody have an ideaabout this?

Thanks

Would you see a dial like his with a 1865 movement?

It looks so modern!

It's a correct, period dial. They were generally produced between 1815 and 1840 in London, but the style continued in the provinces long after it became unfashionable in London.

Thanks for the info.
Would you say it is a nice quality movement, or just average?
