Hello Watchmakers,

I'm looking for the dial feet location on an ETA 2461. Can anyone provide the minute marker association to the feet?

I'd also like to find out if the 24XX series is compatible with the 27XX series. Specifically, will a dial for an ETA 2783 or 2784 fit on an ETA 2461. I know the 27XX series positions dial feet at 11 and 41.

Thanks for insights.

The question stems from trying to select and purchase a gen dial. It’s a 9401 Mercedes service dial. The question for me is two fold - do the dial feet fit a gen 2461 series movement and would this type of service dial have been used on the earlier, no date, Mercedes models.

But to answer your question, the goal is as gen as possible.

Yes, helpful documents. If I had to estimate, it’s close to 11/41. I’ll have to overlay a dial in photoshop to be more accurate.
I haven’t been able to find an example of a 7016 with triangle indexes at 3/6/9 - so even if the 24 series has the same dial feet locations as the 27 series, it may not be a match meant to be.
I’ll qualify that with I understand the 4 basic dial variants typical of a 7016. What I was hoping for was this particular service dial may have been used when servicing a merc hand 7016. Wishful thinking.
