I found recently that ETA has modified its web site and opened some technical information. This can be interesting.
ETA 252.611 Technical Communication
watch_observer, this is great stuff! It answers several questions that I had had. For example, I wondered if the accuracy would need to be readjusted after a battery change (no), and how to set the perpetual calendar! Thanks loads!

Thanks, watch observer! Very informative. (Although, interestingly, I did not see performance specifications noted. Also, the Thermoline is not called out separately.) I will place this reference at the top of the forum as a sticky.
You are welcome.
The files contain the most complete technical info that can come out of the ETA.
But there is something you have not realized.
The ETA Customer Service Portal is NOT supposed to be opened to public. It is for "business-to-business" purpose only. We have a limited time to download the info. Links are not going to work.
The question is:
Is it possible to place the PDF files on the WUS site?

Thanks, watch observer, for this excellent link!:-!
The info from the link confirmed earlier non-official technical information we found on the net. In case of the ETA 252.611 and ETA 252.511 (perpetual calendar movements) it is officially confirmed that the accuracy can be calibrated by steps of 0.33 second per month (or less than 4 seconds per year). It means that with proper calibration these movements should perform within +/- 2 seconds per year!!!

Thanks for the warning. I'm a bit of a computer ignoramus, I'm afraid. I've asked George (ppaulusz) if he knows how to do this. We may have to appeal to help from the forum if we can't handle.

It should certainly be possible to host the PDFs, the main issues are copyright and keeping available copies in synch with any updates from ETA.

I'm not sure that ETA would be happy with their technical documents being available from multiple sites

Someone could email them and ask permission to host that document.
Usually, I'm all for asking permission, on the "nothing ventured, nothing gained" theory. In this case, though, I'd rather not call their attention to this back door. E-mail me, and I'll forward a pdf of the document to you.
