I bought this online today and was wondering if anyone knows approximately when it may have been made. The adjustment on the balance wheel is different than what I'm used to seeing on the newer 2824-2's.

It has a serial number on it. Is that a COSC number by chance? The movement was advertised as having been adjusted to 5 positions like a chronometer.

It definitely is an oldie, this one doesn't have a roller bearing in the oscillating weight....

Yes.

No. There is only a washer hiding the balls. This was used up to the 27XX family like here:



Some members of the 27XX family were equipped with Triovis regulator as standard like this:



And today this kind of regulator is still optionally available.
